We at FTEM have worked in the material handling trade for over 40 years, with experience in a range of roles throughout the industry. Following redundancy in 2012 we decided we would put this experience to good use and offer a complete LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations) service to clients throughout the industry.;
We provide this LOLER service for forklift trucks. We also offer inspections of other lifting equipment such as chains, slings, body harnesses and lanyards, as well as ladder inspections. These are all carried out to industry regulations and will meet legal trade health and safety requirements.
We can offer a personal service to all our clients, helping them understand how Health and Safety requirements affect their business and how these can help prevent accidents. As we work independently we are not bound by strict time limits to check equipment, so we take as long as is necessary, to give you a complete examination service, giving you peace of mind that your equipment is functioning properly, no matter how large or small.
We provide this service to a number of clients across the industry, from trade customers who need full LOLER services for a range of equipment pieces to end users of forklifts who need to keep their investment in good working order.
We are also available for incidents to complete independent accident reports, and to provide end of contract inspections to avoid any needless claims being made for equipment you have leased or hired.We are accredited to the CTFS under the Forklift Truck Association and BITA. We hold a number of qualifications from Jungheinrich, Yale forklifts and Briggs equipment. We undertake ongoing training to ensure we are up to date with all new regulations and standards. Our philosophy is based on our years of offering clients nothing more than a personal service due to our experience and wide knowledge of the trade.
